Creating is my happy place - designing spaces, making furniture, crafting, gardening - it’s all an opportunity to create something new and unique in this world. I have been enamored with art and design my whole life. Drawing was my obsession as soon as I could hold a pencil, and I expanded to painting and sculpture as I got older. While researching in my high school art class, Antoni Gaudi showed me that architecture could be art. Moving, organic, expressive and beautiful. It blew my mind because it never occurred to me that buildings, something so often utilitarian, could also be an artistic expression. Architecture fills an essential human need, but it can also inspire and edify the human experience. Since then, I have pursued the creativity in architecture, building upon the artistic to create spaces that make human lives better.
After growing up in Oklahoma, I’ve lived in Seattle most of my adult life. I love to enjoy all the beauty and glory of the Pacific Northwest with my husband, two kids and our big fluffy puppy, Rocky.

Licensed Architect in the states of Washington + Oklahoma
With nearly twenty years in the industry, I’ve led the design and implementation of many different project types and scales. Having had the privilege of varied creative and technical experience throughout my career, I’m equally comfortable designing large scale building plans as I am designing a coffee table. I have had a well-rounded career designing and implementing many different project types and scale - from half million square foot workplace projects to small remodels, multi-story building repositions to lobby remodels, large buildings to small pavilions.
I’ve been heavily involved in executing these projects from visioning and planning all the way through detailing, finishes, furniture, lighting and construction. The details and final touches are what truly make a project most impactful in experience and function. This full process involvement is the only way I believe we’re able to achieve fully realized designs that meet all the client’s full expectations.
