We are a small, collaborative group brought together by a shared care for people and the spaces they inhabit. Each member of the Cureo studio brings curiosity, empathy, and intention to their work, shaping projects through close collaboration and thoughtful problem-solving. We believe that well-designed spaces have the power to meaningfully improve everyday life, and that belief guides everything we do.
Melissa is an architect and maker who sees design as an opportunity to create spaces that inspire and enrich everyday life, blending art, craft, and architecture into a single practice. As Cureo’s founder here in Seattle, she brings twenty plus years of experience across a wide range of project types and scales, leading work from early visioning through the details that bring spaces fully to life.
MELISSA MADDUX RENNER, AIA
Jacob is an architect who enjoys solving problems through thoughtful, well-crafted design, blending creative making with strong technical thinking. Shaped by experiences in Oklahoma, Harvard, Mexico City, and architectural teaching, he now brings six years of experience across a range of project types and scales to his work with Cureo.
